Real Super Heroes

Retained from what adiyen read in the Prologue of a book from ISKCON, not in actual words:

Our children watch and read about many super heroes. We read fiction and unreal stories and are fascinated by the same.
In reality, there are a lot of true super heroes and true stories that describe the pastimes of these real super heroes. So, instead of teaching our children about fake and fictional super heroes, why not teach them the stories and pastimes of real super heroes from our sampradayam - Varaha, Narasimha, Trivikrama, Rama, Krishna, Ramanuja - they are all real super heroes.
So read to your children books about our super heroes and teach them their stories instead of fiction.

Like it is said, only knowledge of Krishna is vigyaanam, everything else is agyaanam.
Can also draw a relation to Swetaketu's father's words when Swetaketu returns from gurukulam - have you learnt about THAT or HIM, that when you learn, you would've learnt about everything there is to know.

Krishna Takes Rukmini With Him

adiyen is watching the Mahabharat BR Chopra series and is at the point where Krishna takes Rukmini with him. Rukmini boards the chariot and Krishna says, "give me your permission to leave". Rukmini asks, why should I give you permission. Krishna says, you have invited me and you have called me, until you ask me to do so, I cannot leave.

adiyen's realization when I heard this - if we call out for Krishna, he will come and sit in our hearts (and life) and will not leave until we forcefully throw him out of our heart (not possible for a devotee). He is so merciful that he considers our hearts his dwelling place and comes to be with us, takes our heart in the process and blesses us.
